ICICI Bank Organises Coin Exchange Mela in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh

Najidabad: ICICI Bank, India’s largest private sector bank, today organized a Coin Exchange Mela at its Najidabad branch in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh under the guidance of the Reserve Bank of India.

Mr Atul Kumar Jain, HR Head - West UP, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. inaugurated the event.

The mela was organised to offer free facilities of exchanging currency notes with coins to the general public as well as provide fresh currency notes in exchange for soiled and mutilated ones. This is a much-awaited event that receives an overwhelming response from people from all walks of life. 

The Bank exchanged coins and currency notes worth over Rs 82,500 comprising of coins of denomination Rs 10, Rs 2, and Re 1 and fresh notes of denomination Rs 10.

ICICI Bank has over 3,753 branches and extension counters and 11,315 ATMs spread across the country (at March 31, 2014). It has six branches in Bijnor district.
